Noah & the Flood
Some who claim to be “Bible believers” deny many facts of Scripture. This is true regarding Noah and the Flood (Genesis 6-9). Are you a “Bible believer”? Not unless you believe that--
- Noah prepared an ark (Hebrews 11:7). It was approximately 450 feet long, the length of one and a half football fields. It was 45 feet high, the height of a four story building.
- At least two of each “kind” of animal were brought by God to the ark (Genesis 6:19-20). God did not bring every breed of each kind of animal but each kind were brought into the ark. The Bible says it—that settles it.
- The entire world was flooded. “… all the high hills under the whole heaven were covered . . . all the mountains were covered. . . all that was on the dry land, died” (Genesis 7:19, 20, 22).
Typically, those who find this hard to believe accept the theory that a random explosion eventually resulted in life on this planet—go figure.
