Have you seen churches try to draw people to visit by offering food, fireworks, ice cream, or basketball? Do you read that in the Bible? Think. That is not the duty of the church (1 Timothy 3:15).
 The Jamestown church of Christ hopes to draw your interest by inviting you to learn about the Father, the Son, the Spirit, and truth.  You can open your Bible to find what we teach (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Did you know that is not true of every church? The teachings of many churches are based on human writings—the Augsburg Confession (Lutheran Church), the Book of Mormon, or the Magisterium (Catholic Church). Scripture is superior to all these human writings.
