While America celebrates freedom, consider that God offers you freedom from--
 1. doubt and uncertainty  Evolution teaches that we exist by an accident. If life is an accident, man has no purpose in life or moral truth. God has given the Bible “that you may know the certainty” of life and truth (Luke 1:4; John 8:31-32; 2 Peter 1:3).
 2. sin and guilt (Galatians 5:1) No doctor can cure this disease, except the Great Physician (Mark 2:19). His words are the cure—He that believes and is baptized will be saved (John 6:63; Mark 16:16).
 3. man-made religion (Colossians 2:18-23) Religion that results from teachings of men is from the wrong source. Do you follow the teachings of Muhammad, Martin Luther, or other men? Only God’s ways are highest, best, and right.
 4. hell (Mark 9:43) Hell is unpleasant but real. We learn much about it from Jesus Christ. He came to keep us from it. If you die today, where will you spend eternity?
