Many denominations have one, though many members of those denominations have never read it. Of what do I speak? A creed-- which is a denomination’s official statement of belief. Too bad God did not think of providing a book of official statements… or did He? Yes, it is called Scripture! (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  What book represents what you believe-- the so-called “Apostles’ Creed” or the Nicene Creed?
   If we would let the Bible state our beliefs, we would need no man-made creed and would be one step closer to unity. But IF creeds are necessary, then:
     1. Does Scripture completely equip us?  2 Timothy 3:16-17
     2. Has God given us all things for life and godliness?  1 Peter 1:3
     3. Is man condemned for adding to Christ’s teachings?  Revelation 22:18-19
   Creeds alter God’s revealed truth. Does your church have a creed? Who wrote it---God or man?
